A Night with Gary Vay.ner.chuk

Gary VaynerchukTwitter, the great democratizer, one again demonstrates its ability to bring people together. Last night Gary Vaynerchuk of winelibrary.tv found himself in San Francisco and naturally wanted to find a cool winebar to have have a few quiet drinks of the great nectar. A few tweets later the venue was set and the invitation to hang out was sent.  He’d thought  that having sent out the invite just an hour beforehand that he’d only have a handful of people showing up. Oh how naive!

Fifteen minutes after the start time people were already overflowing down the stairs and more were coming up. The wine was flowing, the conversation was likewise and Gary was having to do laps around the venue just to socialize with everyone. SF newcomer Pete Cashmore of Mashable was there, as were Megan McCarthy, Violet Blue (I think) and a host of other Technorati.

It was a great night all around, and the wines (of course) were as great as the insights from everyone there. Looking forward to seeing you here next time Gary!
